Luana lived in a castle where the towers were polished by fluffy, pink dragons and the gardens echoed with the laughter of a kookaburra named Kevin. Luana’s favourite thing in the whole wide world was trying new things. Today was the Royal Garden Party, and her tummy fizzed with excitement for a new adventure.

Suddenly, a big green dragon named Barnaby cleared his throat with a puff of sparkly smoke. 'Hear ye, hear ye!' he boomed. 'This year, we have a brand-new game! The Dragon’s Light Maze!' He pointed a giant claw at a tall, dark hedge. 'Inside, glowing targets await! Who is brave enough to try?' Luana’s hand shot up faster than a rocket.

Luana zipped into the maze. It was darker than she expected, and very quiet. Glowing lights would appear on the walls. Flash, zoom, pop! She’d run to tap one, but it would vanish just as she got there. Flash, zoom, pop! It happened again and again. It wasn't much fun on her own, and a little wobble started on her bottom lip.

Just then, she peeked through a gap in the hedge. Outside, Kevin the Kookaburra was trying to wrap a sparkly parcel with his wings while Barnaby laughed. They were starting a game of Pass the Parcel! Luana remembered she loved trying *all* new things. A big smile spread across her face as she left the maze. 'Can I play too?' she called out, running towards her friends.

Playing Pass the Parcel was a giggle-fest, especially when Barnaby’s big tail knocked over the music player during Musical Statues! They played Pin the Horn on the Unicorn and ate rainbow cupcakes. Luana realised that the dark maze was exciting, but laughing with her mates was the best new adventure of the day.
