In the middle of Music Land, where pianos played happy tunes all by themselves and drum kits went rum-pum-pum just for fun, lived a helpful kid named Judth. Every morning, Judth would polish the shiny brass trumpets until they gleamed like the sun and gently tune the guitar strings so they could hum sweet lullabies. Helping the instruments was Judth’s favourite thing to do.

One afternoon, the Maestro, the leader of all the instruments, brought out a special case. Inside, on a soft purple cushion, lay the Golden Flute. It shimmered and shone, and it seemed to sing a tiny, silvery note just for Judth. "It's beautiful," Judth whispered. The Maestro smiled kindly but said, "It is, but no one can play it until the Grand Concert. It's very special." Judth had never wanted anything so much in their whole life.

Later that day, the Maestro left the room to get some sheet music. The Golden Flute sat all alone, sparkling under a sunbeam. Judth’s heart beat a fast rhythm, thump-thump-thump, just like a nervous little drum. 'Maybe just one little touch,' Judth thought, tiptoeing closer. 'No one would know.' Their hand reached out, getting closer and closer to the shiny, golden treasure.

Just as Judth’s fingers were about to touch the flute, they heard a tiny, sad shiver from the corner. A little triangle was wobbling on its stand, looking lonely. Judth looked at the wonderful flute, then at the wobbly triangle. They remembered that helping felt even better than holding something shiny. Pulling their hand back, Judth rushed over and fixed the little triangle's stand, giving it a gentle, happy *ting!* to cheer it up.

The Maestro walked back in and saw Judth helping the little triangle. He hadn't seen Judth almost touch the flute, but he saw their kind heart in action. "Judth," he said with a big, proud smile. "An honest heart that helps others is the most special instrument of all. Because you chose to be kind, I think you're ready for a lesson." And he picked up the Golden Flute and showed Judth how to play one perfect, sweet, silvery note that filled the whole room with happiness.
